Larry Pioli’s first major career path began in the Jewelry industry back in 1973, and his many accomplishments include being named manager of his first store operation with Kay Jewelers in 1975, when he was only 18 years old. Two short years later, he was named Vice President of operations with Primat Inc. Mr. Pioli eventually branched out on his own, opening his first independent Jewelry store in 1982. By 1990, he had 4 stores in operation across the greater Tampa, Florida area.
During this time frame, Mr. Pioli was also actively engaged in acquiring residential property to remodel and rent. His remodeling knowledge came in the form of hands-on work and practical experience. Mr. Pioli put together a framing crew and began sub-contracting work for major residential builder Pulte Homes in 1990. In that same year, he successfully negotiated his first commercial piece of property and had built a small 6-store retail center attached to a Li’L General Gas and convenience store, while still operating his jewelry interests.
He continued investing and building real estate until his first retirement in 1999, when he sold his Jewelry business. However, he kept a presence in the industry by opening a wholesale B2B enterprise, which he operated successfully until closing it in 2010.
In 2003, Mr. Pioli built and opened a small office building that catered to start-up companies. With the growth of the commercial building market, he went on to build 4 different commercial office projects, handling the development, construction, sales and leasing for the various entities that he was managing member of up until 2008.
Concurrent with his work in commercial property development, Mr. Pioli also remodeled or built 7 personal homes. Today, Mr. Pioli’s holdings still include one commercial office complex named Renaissance Professional Park, along with some office units in other parks that he originally developed.

Investments, Smart Suites, Renaissance Property Development, Custom Renaissance Property Development, Aquarian Ventures Unlimited, Impresa Unita, and in Ecuador–Inmobiliaria Vista Pacifica S.A., a full service real estate, development, and construction company.
